What have you done today?

Today has been all about sorting out the little things. Packets of seeds which I neglected to plant last year, have been collected together and I am determined to do something with them this year.

Fabric hunting in town, for ideas to re-upholster an old chair for the living room, which my husband is keen to do to give us some addition seating.

Save our Libraries Day – 5th February 2011

Of course I popped into my local library as part of the “Save our Libraries” day of action.  I browsed the new additions and picked up  a couple of books to borrow.  Another Philippa Gregory book , based on the story of Mary Queen of Scots called “The Other Queen” and a book by Emma Tennant which follows the story Adele Varens, the ward of Mr Rochester from the famous Jane Eyre.

  1. have you looked at Sarah Raven’s seeds? her plants grew in my garden like they were on steroids! they were truly wonderful. Your book choices look excellent.
