Macro Friday

It’s Bonfire night and I love November 5th.   I adore the fireworks, the sparklers and of course the bonfires.  I also love the history behind bonfire night, the story of Guy Fawkes, his fellow conspirators and the Gunpowder plot.

Remember, remember, the 5th of November
The Gunpowder Treason and plot;
I see of no reason why Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot.

Now it is time for another Macro Friday at Blogging from Bolivia.  This weeks capture has a lot of memories for me.  For those of you who might be left guessing, it is a close up shot of the hinge of a Cribbage board.

Macro Friday - Cribbage
I was taught how to play Cribbage by my maternal grandmother (my Nan).  She loved play card games like ‘Jim Rummy’, Whist and of course Cribbage. She spent a lot of time teaching my brother and me to play these different games, which of course kept us occupied for hours.
