The weather has been wonderfully mild for October. Even though none of the promised sunshine materialised, it has just been fantastic to get out and about with my camera today.
We stopped to have lunch in this little garden hideaway in town, which had once been the local bowling green, until the council converted into gardens.
As we sat eating our lunch, it was lovely to be able to take time to notice our surroundings. Despite it being autumn when things are withering and dying, your can discover real beautiful, such as these orange coloured rose hips.
