Day Twenty Five – London

We organised a day trip to London with for a little bit of shopping along Oxford Street and to visit the Tate Modern.  I am never sure whether I like visiting art galleries, especially when I have been walking around all morning in the rain. In the end it was only a short visit due to weary legs and flagging spirits. We did manage to view the collection on Level 3: Poetry and Dreams which was all about Surrealism and the Surrealists.

What really caught my eye was the building it’s self, especially the interior of the impressive and huge turbine hall.

  1. Cool – i love Tate Modern. I spent Day 24 at the V&A, exhausting my poor Nikon D5000. The battery went flat on me … disaster.

  2. I have to admit very quitely, that I have never been to the Tate Modern, despite working for a university that specialises in the creative arts. We had a really enjoyable day up there, and will probably go again as there was sooo much to see.

Love your piccies for Day 24…will now have to take a trip to the V&A as it looks v.cool.
