We spent a lovely Sunday down on the south coast with the family and friends. Though the day started a little unpromising by late afternoon the weather really improved. We enjoyed a good old-fashioned British BBQ, followed by stroll along the front, an ice cream and a number of ball games.
Strolling a long the sea front we found a little shop selling all the obligatory seaside and beach paraphernalia: fishing nets, buckets and spades and flip-flops. I succumbed to purchasing a set of four sandcastle flags, which I have longed for since I was a child.
